圖2.桑德氏蝴蝶蘭的花。左右兩片是側花瓣，下方是唇瓣。左右兩片是側花瓣，下方是唇瓣。唇瓣三裂，左右兩裂片上捲；中裂片先端漸狹並具二條纖細卷鬚，基部中央處有突起的癒合體，表面具色斑，兩側上方各具兩短角；中裂片左右兩側向外尖凸。
