植物體匍匐，有許多直立的小枝。葉乾燥時強烈捲曲；枝葉線狀至卵狀披針形；葉尖稍為漸尖。葉細胞圓方形，多疣。蒴帽具毛。內蒴齒線形至披針形。

植物體樹生或土生，白綠色。葉披針形；葉尖具疣突。葉基橫切面(圖片右上)中央約3層細胞厚，兩側約7層細胞厚。莖橫切面(圖片右邊中間)不具中心束。

鞭枝苔
姚奎宇
植物體生長於樹幹上，匍匐，枝條常具鞭狀的無性芽。葉卵形至狹卵形，先端突尖。葉細胞長菱形；葉基分化成矩形至長矩形，黃色。
本種最大的特徵在於枝條常具鞭狀的無性芽，在野外非常容易辨認。
