植物體直立，常呈墊狀生長，黃綠色，常見於臺灣中海拔開闊地區的岩石上；葉線狀披針型，乾燥時強烈捲曲；葉基呈V形分化，具肩部；葉緣平坦不背捲或腹捲。葉細胞具多個疣。中肋達尖；橫切面有兩層石細胞。蒴齒白色。
