綜合描述

體長25-29 mm，身軀扁，體色呈藍黑色具強烈金屬光澤。頭楯前緣呈V形深裂，近頭楯處刻點較密。前胸背板兩側有皺褶狀刻紋，後緣中央向後突出；小楯片極小；翅鞘光亮，表面密布刻紋。雌雄外觀相近。本種外觀獨特，極易與其他臺灣金龜區分。
