綜合描述

黑樹白蟻 Glyptotermes fuscus Oshima, 1912 屬木白蟻科 (Kalotermitidae)。黑樹白蟻的模式產地為台灣。
黑樹白蟻棲於活樹，蛀蝕較堅硬的心材。其蛀蝕的通道僅約1mm寬，較難發現。
